Outputs fantastic 420-line resolution color video (using IPS measurements - 460 line resolution when based on industry standard measurement techniques). Nighttime vision in total darkness is made possible with this cameras' automatic infrared array. A radiant field of infrared light as far as 30' from the front of the camera illuminates the darkness when visible light falls below a pre-set threshold. IR hazing of video images is eliminated thanks to an integrated lens separator ring - no cheap foam ring like other manufacturers use.
